We love our little piece of Italy in Holt, and since lockdown, we have welcomed back faces both old and new to our home at Il Calabrese.
If you have not visited before, then there are some new features to keep you, and all of us, safe in this strange new world.
On arrival, you will be required to wait until seated, and if entering the interior, will be required to use the hand sanitiser station provided. Track and Trace details will be taken for all visitors inside the premises ( or anyone sitting outside that uses our W/C.) We accept a maximum table booking of four guests ( this includes children). We no longer provide a highchair ( as we identified this as high risk/contact). We have lost some of our capacity, and so it is more important than ever to book a table in advance. We have all been trained in managing the risks of a Covid secure workplace. We have safety screens between all of our tables where necessary. We are still offering takeaways, but these must be booked in advance and have a strict time slot/collection time. We cannot accept bookings for large groups (more than four, of mixed households) We want to keep you all safe , and our staff safe – and so we will have a no tolerance policy to any behaviours that undermine our safe working practice, or impugn our staff intentionally. We have a slightly smaller, fresh new menu, that will change every few months. We have a smaller wine list of carefully selected, traditional Italian wines.
We love Il Calabrese, and hope you will work with us, to help us succeed in these uncertain times.
